M.N.: This, above, is the main point of the statement, and we should not read anything more that this or less than this there.

So far we do not have any coherent story or explanation, why and how this whole "hullabaloo" (and by this I mean the elections of D. Trump as the US President) started, and what and who were behind it, including and starting with Mr. Trump's sudden political success after Paul Manafort became his campaing manager. Most amazingly, Manafort continued his de facto management after he was fired, almost up to the time of his arrest. It is very unlikely, that Trump would be elected, if not for Manafort, who did two things, as most observers agree: he connected the campaign to the Cambridge Analytica, with the two ways communications system, and the "automated management" of the campaign activities, and he was instrumental in selection of Mike Pence as VP candidate.

This confusion about what really happened, I dare to say, is the the damaging counterintelligence failure in and by itself: the damage is to reputation, and it is the moral, and the political one.

The disagreement "with some of the [IG's] report’s conclusions as to predication and how the FBI case was opened", may be quite natural, and it does not explain this failure, and it also does not address the real issues and questions, which are much broader than the question: Was the FBI Investigation, under the code name "Crossfire Hurricane" sufficiently "predicated" or not.

Presently, most observers agree that Trump Presidency is the de facto Jared Kushner's Presidential "Regency".

It is difficult not to see the prearranged design in all of this, which creates the most definitive impression of the hostile Intelligence Operation, which was evident to the professionals, such as Mr. Brennan and Mr. Comey, and also to Mr. Clapper, and the others. To accuse them of some sort of bias, I think, is baseless and unfounded. It was their direct duty to start this investigation, and if anything, it had to be started much earlier than it was, with Mr. Trump's activities, and his very peculiar connections, and his life style.

We were not prepared for this type of the situations, just like we were not prepared for 9/11.
I think, that the persons, mentioned above, and others, similarly involved in this affair, went out of their ways to be impartial and objective.
My attempt at conceptualization of "what happened?" question is formulated in the New Abwehr Hypothesis of Operation Trump. It is the working hypothesis, not the final product, and the further and very vigorous and in depth investigations are needed, in my humble opinion, to elaborate and develop this hypothesis further.

Many people, myself very much included, have tremendous respect and trust in Mr. Durham, Mr. Barr, Ms. Haspel, and Mr. Wray, and also the CIA and the present day, much healthier FBI as the institutions, and other leaders of the US Intelligence community, including its past leaders, who will always remain a part of it, as the nature of this profession is.

I think, we all should look at these issues in a broader angle, including the historical, and the psychological - motivational ones, and we should try to understand them in a comprehensive fashion. These issues extend beyond the questions of Mr. Trump's Presidency, and his removal from office.

They extend into the the question: How adequate was the security of this country for about past half a century, after the WW2, and how adequate is it now? Are we really prepared for the next disaster? And they look like they coming in the pre-designed series, with the novelty factor permanently built in. They migh come again in the way, shape, and form that we do not even suspect. As always, as it became the pattern by now. And they can become more serious, more dangerous, and more deadly. The first step to the adequate management of this problem is the correct diagnosis, as imprecise and as incomplete and preliminary, as it may be at this point.
