I do not think, that the investigation of the Kushchevskaya massacre and Putin's and/or his Security Services possible complicity in it should be conducted by Mr. Bastrykin
I do not think, that the investigation of the Kushchevskaya massacre and Putin's and/or his Security Services possible complicity in it should be conducted by Mr. Bastrykin, the chief Prosecutor of Russia, the part-equivalent of the US Attorney General. I think, that he amply proved his unwillingness to investigate it properly soon after this horrible tragedy occurred. In effect, he covered it up.
There are many capable and talented investigators in Russia who would be able to do this very important job properly, if they are free from any political pressures.
I think, that Mr. Chaika, the actual equivalent of US AG, should take this point and objection into careful consideration.
And if he does not, his objectivity should be questioned too.
