This second video, which claims to be the filming of the Ukranian plane downing, has emerged, and it is very different from the first one, shown in the MSNBC interview with Mr. Gazetti

In fact, I think, that this second video shows the completely different event; namely the filming of the hit of some object which might be the shoulder held missile with, possibly the laser gun beam, or another shoulder held missile.

If true the news would be hugely embarrassing to Iran - which had 82 citizens on board the plane - and threaten to reignite tensions in the Middle East just a day after Trump said the regime was 'standing down'

The debris of these types of the missiles were found on the ground in some proximity to the plane's debris. I think, this second video possibly confirms my hypothesis that these missiles were fired as the cover, to confuse and to mislead the investigators, which they, as a matter of fact, did so quite promptly: even my beloved BBC got mislead and confused in combining these two, apparently unrelated videos in the single one in their report, repeating the erroneous, from my point of view, assertions, that the downing of the Ukrainian plane is the "honest mistake", and the responsibility of Iran. "Iran" - whom: government, private players, some mysterious groups?
But the main problem with that BBC report was the practical absence of the critical analysis and the correct assessment. I would recommend the media to refrain from this erroneous and incorrect evaluations and reviews. Another interesting question is: was this erroneous report issued on purpose: to form a certain desired opinion, or was it the honest lack of the expertise and thoroughness?
Be all of this as it may, we will wait patiently for the  results of the official investigations. However, I would like to add at this point, that it is quite possible, that this event was staged and used by the private weapons traders, the Russian, the Israeli, or both, as the free and powerful advertising of their deadly wears, possibly targeted at the Gulf Arabs, whom they managed to properly scare, in advance of their pitch, with the "Big Bad Wolf Iran".
This sales and advertising tactics would be in line with previously outlined patterns, and a part of them. It might be all about money, in addition to the other present but secondary aspects. Russian Jewish Mafia is "inventive and creative", and raised on blood and corruption.

President Trump says Iran appears to be standing down after it launched more than 20 missiles at Iraqi bases where US troops are stationed. He urged countries - including the UK - to send a "clear and united message" to Iran that its "campaign of terror" will no longer be tolerated.

The ballistic missiles were launched from the western Kermanshah Province in response to the assassination of General Qasem Soleimani by the US.

Al-Asad airbase in Iraq’s Anbar province was hit 17 times, including two missiles that failed to detonate. According to the Iraqi government, a further five missiles were targeted at a base in Irbil. Both the UK and American governments have said none of their citizens were killed or injured.
In his address this afternoon Donald Trump said the US would impose additional sanctions on Iran.
Meanwhile, just hours after the Iranian missile attacks a Ukrainian passenger plane, carrying 176 people - including 3 Britons, crashed shortly after take-off in Iran. There were no survivors.
The majority of passengers on the Boeing airliner were from Iran and Canada. Several airlines have now said they will avoid Iranian airspace.

Iranian Ambassador to the United Nations Majid Takht Ravanchi:
"As I said, we are not interested, we are not looking after killing the Americans within this operation." - Tape: 3.20 - 3.30

M.N.: I think, that this is the main part of the message, and it was said very clearly, loudly, and nicely. Thank you, Ambassador, and the Iranian people for your understanding of the situation, and your good will.
I also think, in my humble opinion, that the Ambassador's point regarding the economic sanctions as "the knife at the throat" of the Iranian people does have a merit, and it deserves our attention, understanding, and review: we cannot pass and implement the punishing sentence before the proper investigation and the trial, so to speak and to use this metaphor: if the guilt is not proven and/or sufficiently demonstrated, as in the episode with the downing of the Ukrainian plane. It would squarely go against our own principles of fairness and objectivity. I humbly call on Mr. Trump and his Administration to review and to revise these policies and decisions, with the proviso and the honest, in good faith, understanding and cooperation from the Iranian side, that these and other funds will not be used for any hostile plans and activities against the United States or any other related targets. I hope, that there is a good chance for the fair working compromise and for "the meeting of the minds" in this area.
I have to state with satisfaction, that the process of De-escalation does continue, and it is productive. Hopefully, it will lead to the continuous relief of tensions, resolution of the current conflict, and the further continuing and the genuine progress in improving the relations. This is long overdue also.
At meantime, the investigations of the Ukrainian plane crash do continue, and I have some thoughts on this subject, which I will share with you later on.
All is well, that ends well; as all of us like to think and to say.

A New World War II Narrative

Michael_Novakhov shared this story from Yahoo Finance.

(Bloomberg Opinion) -- The 75th anniversary of the end of World War II was the only forthcoming event Russian President Vladimir Putin mentioned in his New Year’s address to the nation. Creating an alternative to the dominant Western narrative about that war is key to Putin’s way of securing Russia’s place in the world.
Putin has appeared lately to be obsessed with World War II, discoursing about it at every opportunity — during an informal session with other post-Soviet leaders, at his big end-of-year press conference, in a meeting with Russian tycoons, at the Defense Ministry in the presence of top generals. He’s talked time and again about delving into archival documents; he’s mentioned working on a scholarly article about the war. Even for a leader who has made the Soviet Union’s victory over the Nazis (seen by many as a triumph over a rotten Europe) a cornerstone of the new Russian national identity, Putin’s evident emotional involvement and the sheer time investment are unusual.
That’s because Putin, his foreign policy advisers and his propagandists see the dominant narrative of the war shifting against Russia.
Throughout the Cold War’s worst years, the victorious alliance of the Soviet Union, the U.S., the U.K. and France was a reminder that cooperation was possible. There is, however, a tendency to dump that baggage now and to treat Russia as a villain without any qualifications. Late last year, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was asked to recall when he’d changed his mind. His response:
What I’ve really changed my mind on was whether it is possible to reset with Russia. I really thought, as I think many foreign secretaries and prime ministers have thought before, that we could start again with Russia. That it’s a great country we fought with against fascism. It was very, very disappointing that I was wrong.
The Kremlin is extremely sensitive to such signals — not just for domestic propaganda reasons, but because Russia’s global power is still based on some important spoils of World War II. As one of the nations that vanquished Hitler, the Soviet Union didn’t just win control over Eastern Europe, it received a place atop the postwar global order and an all-important permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council. If the Soviet Union is primarily seen as Hitler’s ally at the outset of the war — which of course it was — rather than a Hitler conqueror at its conclusion, if Russia has never really been on the right side of history, it has no claim to moral authority and to a role as a global arbiter. To Putin, that role is, in a way, as important as Russia’s nuclear shield. The ability to say authoritatively what’s right and what’s wrong is, after all, a major part of what makes the U.S. a global superpower.
Kremlin-linked historians and propagandists see the shifting narrative as the result of Eastern Europe’s increased role in the continent as a whole. Since, of all European nations, Poland and the Baltic states are the most concerned with the policy and politics of memory, their loud voices have drawn the European political elite’s attention away from the victory and toward the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact of 1939, in which Nazi Germany and Josef Stalin’s USSR divided up spheres of influence in Europe. One result of this was a European Parliament resolution last year that equates the Soviet regime with the Nazi one in terms of the damage done to Europe, a document that has been a strong irritant to the Russian leadership and to Putin personally.
This year’s first issue of Russia in Global Politics, a foreign-policy journal with strong Kremlin links that often provides insights into the Putin administration’s geopolitical thinking, contains the transcript of a fascinating debate among prominent Russian historians on how Russia might try to shape the World War II narrative in a more politically advantageous direction. The debate casts Israel as Russia’s only ally in fighting the turning tide, and Poland as its main adversary.
The logic behind this is that Israel will never agree with the propaganda narratives of the nationalist governments in Poland and the Baltics, which aim to reject all blame for locals’ cooperation with the Nazis during the Holocaust. Indeed, as the Polish government has doubled down on its own nationalist memory policy — which casts Poland as an innocent victim of both Russian and German aggression — it has clashed repeatedly with Israel and the global Jewish community.
The Poles have also had their difficulties with the European Union: They’ve tried to push through a reform of their judiciary that is seen in Brussels as an attack on the rule of law, and they’ve torpedoed various common policies in areas such as immigration and climate protection.
So here’s the recipe for the Russian memory counteroffensive as formulated during the discussion by Moscow State University historian Fyodor Gaida:
So then our main scapegoat is Poland. If we and the European bureaucrats need a common enemy, I guess Poland will be the first candidate. Poland’s role should get the most attention, which is what’s happening today. Our main ally is, yes, Israel. I agree completely, this topic must be developed: Jews in the Red Army and so on.
Gaida also proposes that Russia should stress that all former Soviet republics contributed to the victory, rather than that Russia led the effort.
So far, Putin has played all these cards. He has repeatedly recalled Poland’s land-grab in Czechoslovakia after France and Britain agreed to that country’s carve-up in Munich in 1938. During the meeting with the generals, he recalled how a Polish ambassador to the Third Reich told Hitler he’d be commemorated with a statue in Warsaw if he managed to dispatch the Jews to Africa, as he once planned. “A bastard, an anti-Semitic pig, I have no other way to say it,” Putin raged.
Never mind that the ambassador in question, Josef Lipski, actually helped Jews fleeing Germany before the war get into Poland, as Polish Jewish community leaders pointed out. On Jan. 23, Putin will give an address at a ceremony in Israel commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Red Army’s liberation of Auschwitz, but Polish President Andrzej Duda has refused to go because he hasn’t been given a chance to speak.
As for the former Soviet republics’ role in the victory, Putin made it the focus of his meetings with ex-Soviet leaders last month, telling them, “For all of us — I’d like to stress that and I know you agree — for all of us this is a special anniversary, because our ancestors, our fathers, our grandfathers have placed so much on the altar of our then-common Fatherland.”
Over the next few months, we should expect the Russian memory counterattack to develop in new directions. During the historians’ debate, Alexander Lomanov from the International Economics and Foreign Relations Institute in Moscow proposed working more closely with China, which, he said, would appreciate more attention to its role in defeating Japan and thus allowing the Soviet Union to spare its forces for the anti-Hitler front. In return, he said, China would be happy to promote the idea that the Soviets were the main force behind the victory in Europe:
The Chinese narrative has retained many of the familiar positive images of the “great Soviet Union” and “mighty Red Army,” which made the decisive contribution into crushing fascism. Given the strict control over historical memory in China, any “spontaneous” criticism of the Soviet Union role in World War II is impossible. The narrative is created from above and controlled by the political elite.
Much of Putin’s foreign-policy activity this year will be directed toward trying to rebuild a more Russia-centric concept of the victory over the Nazis. This is territory where Putin isn’t prepared to give ground, and given the enormous complexity of the historical material as well as the cross-currents of Israeli, U.S. and European memory politics, he can put up quite a diplomatic and propaganda fight.
It's precisely these complexities, though, that make any kind of government involvement in shaping the memory of World War II so abhorrent. As politicians cherry-pick the blood-soaked record for political purposes, truth is the biggest loser. As Alexey I. Miller of the European University in St. Petersburg put it during the historians’ discussion, “The idea that we are returning to historical memory to overcome political differences and enmity has been superseded by the understanding of memory as one more area where political goals are being sought.” Russia, given its size and the dizzying extremes of its World War II record, shouldn’t get involved in this. It should take pains to recognize and atone for its crimes even as it celebrates its heroic past. Even if narrative wars are a reality, refusing to fight them is the strongest possible position.

Greed, stupidity and raw instinct was the driving force behind Trump’s attack on Iran – Raw Story

Michael_Novakhov shared this story from Raw Story.

The simplest explanation is often the correct one.
Why did Donald Trump order the assassination of Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani, and by doing so push the United States and Iran to the brink of war?
It is more than reasonable to conclude that Donald Trump ordered this killing to distract the American people from his impeachment and many other scandals. Trump also escalated a conflict with Iran for other self-interested reasons such as pride, ego and, very likely, greed. Trump and his advisers also calculated that a war with Iran would help him in the 2020 election.
Tuesday evening Iran retaliated by launching ballistic missiles at two American airbases in Iraq. These attacks were an attempt by Iran’s leaders to make a show of strength and national pride. Later that evening, Iran’s government announced a cessation of hostilities on their part if the U.S. would reciprocate.
Military analysts are now suggesting that Iran targeted its missiles in such a way as to minimize casualties among American and Iraqi forces. No one appears to have been killed.
A regional conflagration was averted not, at least momentarily, because of anything Trump did but rather despite him.
In total, Trump’s Iran gambit is a gross failure that has further diminished the power and prestige of the United States.
Iraq has now demanded that the U.S. remove its troops from that nation (although this is unlikely to happen). Iran has announced it will no longer adhere to restrictions on its nuclear program. Iran’s retaliation has rallied its people against the U.S., and American influence in the Middle East and around the world has been further diminished. This creates a power vacuum that Russia, China and other hostile powers are likely to fill.
Ultimately, the Iran debacle is another example of the ways Donald Trump is singular and “unique” among American presidents — in the worst possible sense. None of his predecessors have embodied Trump’s racism, cruelty, ignorance, greed, corruption, violence, misogyny, apparent sociopathy and laziness all in one person.
Trump is also the first president to be impeached for matters related to foreign policy and election interference in the United States. He will be the first president to seek re-election after being impeached.
Trump has earned another “distinction” as well. He is America’s first mercenary president. Machiavelli’s famous treatise on politics, “The Prince,” describes such people:
Mercenaries and auxiliaries are useless and dangerous; and if one holds his state based on these arms, he will stand neither firm nor safe; for they are disunited, ambitious and without discipline, unfaithful, valiant before friends, cowardly before enemies; they have neither the fear of God nor fidelity to men, and destruction is deferred only so long as the attack is; for in peace one is robbed by them, and in war by the enemy.
Self-interest and corruption are the foundations of Trump’s mercenary regime. Trump was impeached for abusing the power of the presidency in his attempts to blackmail and extort the government of Ukraine to interfere in the 2020 election. Watchdog groups have documented hundreds if not thousands of examples of the ways Trump uses the office of the presidency to personally enrich himself, and engages in corrupt behavior of many other kinds. He forces the Secret Service and other government agencies to pay him for using his hotels and other properties. He overtly sells influence (or at least the promise of influence) to foreign governments, corporations and other private interests.
Trump’s corruption has been highly lucrative for him and his family. It is estimated that Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner — who also work as White House advisers — made at least $82 million in outside income during 2017.
Because of his innate personality and his authoritarian politics, Trump rejects the very notion of “public service” and the common good. He views the U.S. government as an extension of his will, personality and goals. To that end the public good is to be subsumed by what is good for Donald Trump (and his family and allies), whether personally, financially and politically. In all, Trumpism is the logic of organized crime imported into the White House and then applied to American government.
The mercenary nature of Trump’s presidency is amplified by his almost total lack of transparency. Trump will not release his tax returns to the public, an obvious effort to conceal all the ways he puts his personal financial interests above those of the American people.
Trump’s lack of transparency also raises profound and disturbing questions about his decision-making regarding Iran and other foreign countries. Is Trump personally profiting from investments in defense contractors? Are Trump and his family war profiteers?
And of course, do Trump’s many foreign entanglements include debts to Russian oligarchs, as has been widely rumored? As a practical matter, does that mean that the president of the United States is Vladimir Putin’s vassal?
Trump’s lack of transparency is another manifestation, among many, of his illegitimacy. The Russia and Ukraine scandals have made clear that Trump has no respect for the Constitution, American democracy and the rule of law.
Trump remains extremely unpopular among the American people. He lost the popular vote in the 2016 presidential election by close to 3 million votes. He won the election anyway because of a the regional and geographical bias of the Electoral College — and perhaps because of Russian interference, the FBI’s investigation of Hillary Clinton and numerous other marginal factors.
Trump leads a political cult and has no interest in expanding his base of support beyond a small group of supporters.
His chronic lying — as president, he has at least 15,000 times, according to the running count of the Washington Post — also undermines his legitimacy and credibility.
As Peter Nicholas of the Atlantic explains, Trump is in no position to convince Americans to support the “sacrifice and bloodshed” that would be required in a war with Iran: “He can’t assume people will accept what he says as true, because millions have concluded it never is,” and now must face “the gravest foreign-policy crisis of his tenure at a time when his credibility has been shredded.”
Nicholas continues by arguing that Trump is “a unique case”:
His approval rating has never cracked 50 percent in Gallup surveys, and experts on the presidency have rated him the most polarizing chief executive in history. Trump’s handling of the crisis will test the reflexive loyalty Americans show in such fraught times. It’s not at all clear that, outside of Trump’s base, people will trust his motivations, especially when he’s under serious political pressure. He is up for reelection in November, and he’s facing a potential impeachment trial in the Senate. Tweets he sent out years ago show that he’s well aware a president’s popularity spikes in wartime: In 2011, a year before Obama won reelection, Trump claimed, “In order to get elected, Obama will start a war with Iran.”.
Trump’s critics suspect that he’s inflaming tensions with Iran to suit his own needs, deliberate preparation be damned. They see a “wag the dog” scenario — the term for presidents who manufacture overseas crises to divert attention from embarrassments at home.
What was the political logic driving Trump’s attack on Iran?
It was meant to distract from the impeachment drama and to create a “rally around the flag” effect that would work to Trump’s benefit.
Did it work? That’s not clear. The situation is still developing, and the aftermath is unknown.
Because a war or other extended conflict has been averted for the moment, Trump has not received a boost from (more) human tragedy and suffering Middle East. A new Reuters/Ipsos poll shows that a majority of Americans disapprove of Trump’s handling of the Iran crisis.
But the mainstream news media has consistently normalized Donald Trump’s aberrant and dangerous behavior, and that pattern continues. The standards for Trump and his regime are now so low that the self-evident fact that the president attacked a foreign country’s senior leadership in order to distract the public from impeachment is not viewed as an especially significant story given the daily “firehose” of heretofore unimaginable and unfathomable behavior.
Donald Trump’s cult members, especially white Christian evangelicals, will apparently remain forever loyal. They are attracted to a war in the Middle East for many reasons, in part because it fulfills their mythological fantasies about the “end times” and the coming Rapture.
On Wednesday, Donald Trump gave a speech about the Iran crisis. True to form, he appeared agitated and out of sorts. Some observers have speculated that Trump may have been heavily medicated: He slurred his words and spoke, at moments, in a barely coherent manner.
He proclaimed “victory,” where of course the United States had no victory was.
Trump lied once again about Barack Obama by claiming that the former president had somehow financed the Iranian missiles used to attack U.S. and Iraqi forces. As we all know, Trump is an unrepentant racist who is obsessed with disparaging his predecessor, America’s first black president.
As befits an autocrat and tyrant in waiting, Trump surrounded himself with generals and other members of the national security establishment in an effort to project a sense of gravitas and power as he threatened Iran with America’s great and powerful weapons. Instead of demonstrating strength, dignity and power, Trump resembled a comical strongman from Woody Allen’s classic “Bananas.”
Trump has shown himself repeatedly to be a malignant narcissist and when he looks in the mirror he likely sees a god rather than a hapless buffoon. This is validated by his sycophants, minions, cult members and other enablers who constantly tell him that he is the greatest of all presidents, worthy of being an American emperor.
Those who believe such fables, unfortunately, are willing to force their nightmarish onto the American people and the world. They must be stopped before it becomes too late.

Cui bono?, in English "to whom is it a benefit?", is a Latin phrase about identifying crime suspects. It expresses the view that crimes are oftentimes committed to benefit their perpetrators, especially financially. Which party benefits may not be obvious, and there may be a scapegoat. Wikipedia
Justin Trudeau says Canada has intelligence Iran shot down Ukrainian airliner

Michael_Novakhov shared this story .

Trudeau has called for a thorough investigation into what caused the crash.
"The intelligence and evidence suggests that it's a surface to air strike," Trudeau added, though he would not provide additional details.
The US increasingly believes that Iran mistakenly shot down the airliner, according to multiple US officials. The working theory is based on continuing analysis of data from satellites, radar and electronic data collected routinely by US military and intelligence.
A US official familiar with the intelligence said the plane was shot down by two Russian made SA-15 surface to air missiles. The US saw Iranian radar signals lock onto the jetliner, before it was shot down.
The morning after the incident, US analysts discovered the data but took another day to verify, the official said.
President Donald Trump on Thursday said he suspected
the crash
was not due to mechanical issues, indicating that "somebody could have made a mistake on the other side."
Asked during a White House event what he thought happened to the plane, Trump said, "Well, I have my suspicions."
European security officials told CNN they believe reports suggesting that the plane was shot down by an Iranian surface to air missile in error are credible.
The timing of the crash has fueled speculation about its cause, coming just hours after
Iran fired missiles
at two Iraqi bases housing US troops in retaliation for the killing of its top general, also in Iraq. The exchange of attacks between Tehran and Washington on Iraqi soil was a dramatic escalation of tensions between the adversaries, and is raising fears of another proxy war in the Middle East.
The head of Iran's Civil Aviation Authority is questioning the US allegation.
Speaking to CNN, Ali Abedzadeh said, "if a rocket or missile hits a plane, it will free fall."
Abedzadeh asked, "How can a plane be hit by rocket or missile" and then the pilot "try to turn back to the airport?"
He also told CNN the plane's black boxes are damaged and Iran may need help decoding them.
"Generally speaking, Iran has the potential and know-how to decode the black box. Everybody knows that," Abedzadeh said.
However, he also added that, "the black box of this very Ukrainian Boeing 737 is damaged. Ukrainian Aviation experts arrived here in Tehran today. We had a session with them. From tomorrow they will start decoding the data."
"If the available equipment is not enough to get the content" Iran will outsource the boxes to "the experts from France or Canada," Abedzadeh said.
Newsweek was
first to report
US and Iraqi sources believe Iran shot down the plane by mistake.
"I don't want to say that because other people have their suspicions," Trump said, but added, "Somebody could have made a mistake on the other side ... not our system. It has nothing to do with us."
"It was flying in a pretty rough neighborhood. They could've made a mistake. Some people say it was mechanical. I personally don't think that's even a question."
Asked if he thought it was downed by accident, Trump said, "I don't know. I really don't know ... that's up to them. At some point they'll release the black box."
"Ideally they'd give it to Boeing," he said, but said giving it to France or "some other country" would be fine, too.
"Something very terrible happened, very devastating," he concluded.
The Ukrainian International Airlines (UIA) flight PS752 came down just minutes after takeoff from Tehran on Wednesday local time, killing all 176 people on board, including dozens of Iranians and Canadians. The Boeing 737-800 was headed for Kiev, where 138 passengers were expected to take a connecting flight to Canada. Ukrainians, Swedes, Afghans, Germans and British nationals were also aboard.
One possibility being considered is that an Iranian missile unit saw something on their radar, thought they were under attack and fired.
"If it is true that an Iranian missile brought down a civilian airliner, it points to exactly the sort of miscalculation and recklessness that attends the cycle of escalation and violence we've been seeing in the region. The innocent people killed in this tragedy would then, sadly, not be the only victims. Iran must fully cooperate with investigators and be willing to account for their actions," CNN national security analyst retired Adm. John Kirby said.

Investigation underway

Iran's Civil Aviation Organization head, Ali Abedzadeh, said it would not hand the flight data recorders to Boeing or the United States after they were found on Wednesday.
One of the officials said the US is working closely with the Canadians on the intelligence. US officials have also shared officials with UK officials, according to sources familiar.
Ukrainian officials on Thursday were considering terrorism, a missile strike and catastrophic engine failure as potential causes for the crash, as aviation authorities in Tehran said the jetliner was on fire before it came down.
Ukraine's National Security and Defense council chief, Oleksiy Danilov, said a meeting was taking place with Iranian authorities, where various causes behind the crash were "being studied," including a theory that the plane was hit by an anti-aircraft missile, according to a statement on Facebook.
Conflicting claims about potential causes for the disaster began hours after the crash, when Iranian state media blamed technical issues and Ukraine ruled out rocket attacks. Within hours on Wednesday, officials in both countries had walked back those initial statements.
An initial report by the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization on the crash cites witnesses as saying the airliner was on fire while in the air and changed directions after a problem, turning back toward the airport. People on other aircraft at higher altitudes also saw the flames, Iranian officials say. Images of the wreckage show the plane torn to piece, its parts charred and strewn across a field.
CNN's Nick Paton Walsh, Alex Marquardt, Faith Karimi, Vasco Cotovio, Artemis Moshtaghian and Tara John contributed to this report.

Regarding the “Missile Hypothesis”

M.N.: Dear Friends, let me share my thinking with you regarding the reports, that just appeared in the press regarding the hypothesis that the crashed Ukrainian plane was hit by the surface to air missiles, fired by the Iranians.
  1. It is possible, hypothetically, that the missiles were fired, but it is next to impossible that they hit the plane. The statistical chances of miss for two objects, moving randomly, without continuous in-flight corrections of trajectory, for one of these objects, are much greater, than the chances of direct hit. Ask the specialists to comment on this thesis.
2. The plane did not look like it disintegrated in the air, as it would, if it were hit by the missile. Judging from this video below, it continued its flight as the single, integrated object, and it exploded only when it hit the ground.

3. The area of the spread of the fragments appears to be relatively self- contained and limited, and would be much broader, within several miles, if plane disintegrated in the air.
4. The communications were cut off suddenly, as if by the “electrical” switch, which is consistent with my hypothesis, verbalized earlier today, of the plane been subjected to the cut by the laser beam(s) from space in the tail section, where its communications nodes, the “wires”are located; as it happened so often with the previous, similar episodes of the recent plane crashes. If the plane crashed from the direct mechanical impact, the communications would not be affected as if by the turn of the switch, and would continue for the brief period of time, allowing the pilots to transmit their message.
It is hypothetically possible that the missiles were fired, but if it is so, this, most likely , served as the deliberate cover, with the purpose of hiding and misidentifying the real, actual cause, namely the hit by the laser gun from space.
Who are the mysterious US government officials who introduced this ” missile hypothesis”? Let them give a press conference and do subject them to the tough questioning, similarly to the discussion above, and by the specialists.
It looks like the deliberately introduced false “intelligence” report, with the purpose to start a war, and to save the skin of the real perpetrators. Remember about the faulty intelligence reports, prior to Iraq War of 2003, regarding the WPM, which were never found and served just as the convenient pretext to start the war. Do not allow yourselves to be manipulated and think independently.
If the remnants of the missiles were found on the ground, it is not the proof in any way, that the plane was hit by these missiles. Do not allow the political manipulators and criminals to take you for the fools.
To our Iranian Brothers (and I mean this word: BROTHERS): keep your utmost cool, do not get provoked, and do not conduct any provocative military or paramilitary actions. You have to understand the complexity of the situation, and to exercise the maximum of restrain. Please, do confirm this attitude publicly, and maintain clear and cool, rational lines of communications directly or through the intermediaries that you feel comfortable about.
The truth will come out sooner or later, and, likely, sooner. Do not let the political criminals to start the WW3. Mr. Erdogan, please offer your good services as the intermediary and the moderator. The access to the site of the crash has to be provided, and the team of the top notch professional investigators, possibly under the aegis of the UN, should start their work ASAP.
Mr. Trump and Mr. Netanyahu, please restrain yourselves from making the belligerent comments and from incitements, and wait for the official results of the official, high quality, professional, and multidisciplinary investigation, just like everyone else. Do not mislead and manipulate the masses for your personal political purposes and remember about the one way trip to The Hague.

Iran news: commander vows “harsher revenge” against U.S., relief in Tehran today after Trump speech

Michael_Novakhov shared this story .

The House is set to vote Thursday on a resolution that would limit President Trump’s ability to engage in hostilities against Iran under the 1973 War Powers Resolution, as Democrats attempt to reassert Congress’ constitutional authority to declare war amid a tense standoff with the Islamic Republic.
President Trump said Wednesday the U.S. would impose new sanctions against Iran, but backed away from further military action after Iran launched missiles at two military bases housing U.S. troops in Iraq. Iran’s attack was in response to America’s targeted killing of Iranian Major General Qassem Soleimani.
Mr. Trump said Wednesday Iran appeared to be “standing down” after a week of soaring tension between the two countries. By Thursday, however, there were mixed messages. A senior Iranian military commander vowed there would be “harsher revenge” against the United States. The remark came a day after Iran’s political leaders said the Islamic Republic had “concluded” its response to Soleimani’s killing.
Plane crash: U.S. officials confident Iran shot down passenger jet bound for Ukraine today

U.S. officials are confident Iran shot down a Ukrainian jetliner in the hours after the Iranian missile attack on U.S. targets earlier this week, CBS News has learned. The Ukrainian International Airlines plane crashed Wednesday soon after takeoff from Tehran’s airport, killing all 176 people on board.
U.S. intelligence picked up signals of a radar being turned on, sources told CBS News. U.S. satellites also detected two surface-to-air missile launches, which happened shortly before the plane exploded, CBS News was told.
Federal officials were briefed on the intelligence Thursday, CBS News transportation Kris Van Cleave reports. A source who was in the briefing said it appears missile components were found near the crash site.
This is a developing story and will be updated.

THE REAL COUP WAS IN 2016 | THE PSYCHOANALYSIS OF INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS

Image result for Rightist wing of the GOP
The real Coup was in 2016, and it was performed by the corrupt, pro neo-Nazi oriented, Abwehr bought and subverted, the Rightist wing of the GOP, the Broidy-Manafort ring in its latest reincarnation; and by the other alumni of the Abwehr Law School, a.k.a. Roy Cohn’s Law Firm: Little Duce Giuliani, “dirty trickster” Roger Stone, and their circles, climbing and clawing their ways to Power and Money. And apparently, some officers of the New York Branch of the FBI were their ideological and operational “stormtroopers”. Search the Anthony Weiner sexting affair scandal as FBI operation, much under-researched, under-investigated, and under-publicized.
If only a part of all these legitimate and well based suspicions and accusations against the New York branch of the FBI are proven or sufficiently demonstrated, this question would be quite legitimate: Was at least a part of the NY FBI branch corrupt, rotten, in Trump’s pocket, and under possible influences of the foreign agents?

Investigate the “STORMTROOPERS” – the alleged “pro-Trumpists” within the NY branch of the FBI, and look into the general health of the whole branch.

Investigate James Kallstrom and others!

Investigate the Abwehr – Roy Cohn Law School and all its “graduates”.

Investigate the political corruption in both parties. Investigate the corruption and failures within the FBI, and their root causes. The proof is in the pudding, sadly but undeniably.
