На чужой роток не накинешь платок. Гласность, открытость, прозрачность. And in Politics especially so: absolutely everything, all and any aspect of the politicians lives and personalities become the subjects of the public discussion, and absolutely legitimately so. Public has the right to know. Because the Public trusts its fate, their very lives into the politicians hands, and the People cannot afford to be deceived, confused, mislead, and fed the half-truths or the artificial sweeteners. Too much is at stake. And the journalists and bloggers are the Public's ears, eyes, analytical brains, and reporting, screaming, if needed, and very loud mouths.
